At Travis Schultz & Partners, we don’t just talk about being a law firm with a community conscience, we put our words into action. Giving back is at the centre of everything we do. It’s what motivates us, what drives us to advocate for the underdog, and guides our professional services model.

We participate in a range of amazing charitable initiatives and community organisations across Queensland and strive to seek out values-based partnerships that strongly align with our ethos (and passions!).

It is also important to us to give back to our profession and we do this in a variety of ways.

Finally, we are continually seeking out ways we can become a more sustainable and environmentally friendly practice, acknowledging there is always room for learning and improvement in this important field.

The independent organisation has been operating for more than thirty years and relies on the support of Sunshine Coast lawyers, volunteers and the public.

Many Travis Schultz & Partners lawyers proudly volunteer their time by providing free advice to the service throughout each year. Working with SCLS over the years has been deeply rewarding for Travis and the team. Travis was honoured when they made him a life member after serving as a volunteer solicitor and working on the committee for more than a decade.

Since 2020, TSP also hosts an annual wine dinner fundraiser for SCLS. Visit the SCLS website to learn more about this vital community service. On our community and events page, you can also see more about SCLS and TSP events.

Travis Schultz & Partners proudly host law student internships, providing students with exposure to a range of interesting and challenging experiences across the compensation law spectrum. Providing students with this experience and supporting young lawyers starting out in their profession is something Travis is passionate about.

Sustainable practices

Being environmentally conscious is becoming an essential part of operating a firm as more clients expect and demand the organisations they deal with to have an environmental (and social) conscience. At Travis Schultz & Partners, we have the same expectations on ourselves as a firm, and are continually looking at ways we can improve, innovate and evolve into a more sustainable business for the future.

Here are a just few sustainable practices we have embraced since our firm opened its doors in 2018:

  • We have employed an Environmental Officer, who helps coordinate and implement our recycling and sustainable efforts;
  • We have ensured recycling facilities are made available to staff in our kitchen, ensuring all cans and bottles are recycled;
  • We had solar panels installed on the roof of our Mooloolaba office;
  • We offset the emissions of our work vehicles, and
  • We are continuously working towards becoming a ‘paper-less’ law firm.
