Initiatives & Causes
At Travis Schultz & Partners, we don’t just talk about being a law firm with a community conscience, giving back is at the centre of everything we do. It’s what motivates us, what drives us to advocate for those that need support and guides our professional services model.
We participate in a range of impactful charitable initiatives and community organisations across Queensland and strive to seek out values-based partnerships that strongly align with our ethos.
It is also important to us to give back to our profession and we do this in a variety of ways.
And in an ongoing endeavour to become a more sustainable and environmentally friendly practice, we are continually adjusting our processes, procurement and acknowledging there is always room for learning and improvement in this important area.

Legal Profession
We are dedicated to supporting the legal profession in numerous ways. Our initiatives include creating educational content, such as our weekly Personal Injury Law Case Summaries. Each year, TSP sponsors the UniSC student law association’s wellbeing breakfast and provides a guest speaker. Additionally, we annually support the Sunshine Coast Law Association’s (SCLA) Annual Justin Crosby Dinner.
Many of our lawyers volunteer in committee and board roles with the Queensland Law Society (QLS) and Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA), and contribute to educational events and speaking engagements. We also advocate for our clients and drive law reform, often appearing in the news to push for better outcomes for injured people.
Sunshine Coast Community Legal Service
The Suncoast Community Legal Service (SCLS) is a not-for-profit organisation which provides free legal advice for the great Sunshine Coast region. The mission at SCLS is to ensure adequate and meaningful access to justice for vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community. As an independent community organisation, SCLS serves as a first point of contact for free advice and referral services and relies on the support and generosity of Sunshine Coast lawyers, volunteers and the public.
Many Travis Schultz & Partners lawyers have volunteered their time by providing free advice to the service over the years.
Since 2020, TSP has hosted the annual SCLS Wine Dinner which brings the local community together to raise vital funds. Visit the SCLS website to learn more about this community service.
Queensland Law Society
The Queensland Law Society (QLS) is the peak representative body for the legal profession in Queensland, providing leadership, guidance and support for more than 13,000 members.
Currently eight lawyers at TSP are QLS Accredited Specialists in the field of Personal Injury. Visit our Meet your Team page to find out more. Visit the QLS website to learn more about this organisation.
Internships
Supporting new graduates and rising stars in our profession is important to us. Travis Schultz & Partners proudly host law student internships, providing students with exposure to a range of interesting and challenging experiences across the compensation law spectrum. Providing students with this experience and supporting young lawyers starting out in their profession is something Travis is passionate about.
