The fifth annual Law & Wine Dinner raised over $70,000 for LifeFlight. This year featured an elevated wine dinner experience with an Olympic and Paralympic-themed program, celebrating stories of courage and purpose. This year an inspiring welcome speech was delivered by the Honourable Jarrod Bleijie, Deputy Premier of Queensland, who kicked off the event’s Olympic and Paralympic theme discussing preparations for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
A highlight of the evening was a panel discussion featuring inspiring gold medal-winning Paralympians Alexa Leary OAM and Callum Simpson OAM, hosted by respected sports journalist Pat Welsh.
Guests enjoyed an evening of meaningful connections with industry peers over a delicious three-course meal, paired with a premium selection of wines by winemaker Mark Weldon from the celebrated New Zealand winery, Terra Sancta.
The fundraising efforts were boosted by a live auction led by Peter Burgin from Ray White. A range of exciting prizes were bid on, including luxury getaways, a curated wine collection and a personal chef experience, thanks to a host of generous sponsors.
