Event date: 17 May 2018

When: 17 May

Where:  Pier33, Mooloolaba

To officially open Travis Schultz Law at Pier33 Mooloolaba, Travis invited his mother Denise to unveil a stunning artwork by renowned artist Anna Rubin of his late grandfather Jack O’Brien. Jack was an RAAF bomber pilot in WWII who was awarded one of the Air Force’s greatest honours, the Distinguished Flying Cross which is purple and champagne coloured.

Travis chose these colours as the Travis Schultz Law brand to honour his legacy and make his mother and family proud. More than 300 people joined the celebration with champagne tastings, canapes and activities like “wheelbarrow of joy” to guess the weight of wine in a wheelbarrow and a complex wine quiz ‘barrel of laughs’ along with a moving speech from Travis sharing the story of his grandfather’s significant efforts during the war.
