Compensation law firm Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP) has bolstered its roster of expert lawyers with the addition of Special Counsel Gabrielle Watts to the Cairns office.

Ms Watts, who joins Principal Beth Rolton and Associate Kylie Walmsley in Cairns, has over 17 years of experience in personal injury law. With a career spanning both plaintiff and defendant practice, Ms Watts has a depth of experience in navigating complex workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident and public liability – in particular, historical institutional abuse – claims. Ms Watts is recognised for her technical expertise, strong legal acumen and commitment to achieving fair outcomes for injured people.

Having built much of her career in Sydney, but hailing from a regional background, Ms Watts understands the importance of accessible, high-quality legal services outside major metropolitan centres. She is keen to work with clients across Far North Queensland, and offers a practical and people-focused approach to achieving fair outcomes. Ms Watts’ appointment further strengthens TSP’s commitment to ensuring Queenslander’s have access to expert legal representation.

“I am driven when it comes to helping people achieve justice and fair compensation following injury,” said Ms Watts. “I am truly passionate about representing injured people and helping them navigate what can often be a difficult and stressful legal process. My goal is always to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients so they can move forward with confidence and focus on their future.”

Principal Beth Rolton says that Ms Watts is a welcome addition to the Cairns team; “We’re proud to welcome Gabrielle to our team here in Cairns. Gabrielle’s technical expertise is exceptional, but what really stood out to us is her genuine commitment to people. Her knowledge and empathetic approach is of great value to us as a firm and the clients we serve.”

TSP is an award-winning firm which prides itself on the high level of expertise of its lawyers. The firm has 24 lawyers across its five offices in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Cairns and Innisfail, as well as eight Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialists, which is the highest number of any compensation law firm in Queensland.
