Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP), is thrilled to welcome three lawyers to the firm this month, growing the team of lawyers to 16.

The Queensland-based firms Cairns and Brisbane offices, welcome Lawyer Andrew Evans to their one-year young regional practice in Cairns, and Senior Associate, Candice Heisler and Associate, Karla Macpherson to their Brisbane office. Together, the three recruits add 20 years of experience to the firm’s personal injury law expertise.

In the wake of the firms’ fifth anniversary this year, founder Travis Schultz, reflects on starting out with a team of five back in their 2018 opening year. Having seen faster than predicted growth in their five short years, the team is now over 55 staff across its four locations in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Cairns and the Gold Coast.

Mr Schultz says the firm’s growth is largely from word-of-mouth referrals and recommendations. He says the firm’s unwavering focus on the strength of their expertise and human connection, has helped them steer the course towards a professional services firm growing thanks to genuine reviews and rereferrals, rather than by advertising.

“Rather than become another legal juggernaut dictated by timesheets and call centres, I prefer teams spend time connecting in the community, in conversation with professional peers, and investing in their professional development. With six Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialists in Personal Injury Law, it is a fantastic place to advance your career,” adds Mr Schultz.

TSP’s CEO, Kelly Phelps attributes the flourishing interest as owing to the firms’ values, culture, and way of doing things differently. This continues to set them apart as both a sought-after choice for legal representation, and employer, in personal injury law.

“We prioritise respect and fairness and hire for culture and attitude as much as aptitude. Candice, Karla and Andrew share our values and commitment to personal service, and we know they will contribute positively to culture,” Ms Phelps said.

When asked what attracted them to working at TSP, the three new starters responded: “the collaborative approach”, “the opportunity for career progression and learning”, and “the solid reputation and leadership”.

In addition to the three new hires in July, Aiden Warneke, a Sunshine Coast-based team member with the firm for the past three years, was admitted as a Lawyer in June.

TSP are thrilled to welcome all four lawyers to the team. Learn more about each of them by visiting the Travis Schultz & Partners ‘Teams’ website page:
