Award-winning compensation law firm, Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP) is thrilled to welcome Andrew Evans to their one-year young regional practice in Cairns.
Having recently celebrated the Cairns office’s one year opening anniversary and the firms fifth year practicing, founder Travis Schultz, reflects on the faster than predicted growth, saying the demand in Cairns reflects what is happening in other locations also – with two new appointments in Brisbane this month. Together, the three recruits add 20 years of experience to the firm’s personal injury law expertise.
Partner and Cairns leader, Beth Rolton, said that while she understood the demand for a compensation law firm in the Far North – and for a wider pool of lawyers when it came to personal injury claims – the level of enquiry and interest exceeded her initial expectations.
Ms Rolton says that their hope to become the Far North’s go-to personal injury law firm is becoming a reality as they enter their second year of operation with fast-tracked plans to build the team and service the growing client base.
“Andrew is an important introduction to the firms offer of ‘compensation with compassion’ and has a special background having served in the Australian Defence Force prior to steering his career into law later in life,” Ms Rolton said.
“I am thrilled to welcome Andrew who shares our values and commitment to a personal service, and I know he will contribute positively to culture”.
Cairns local Andrew Evans says he was attracted by the opportunity to work directly with Beth Rolton, in a new to the region firm that had quickly established a solid reputation.
Mr Evans says “I have seen first-hand the long-term effects that physical and psychological injuries can have on people. While all injuries can impact people in different ways, all people need someone they can trust to support them through the process of their recovery – as well as the process of the claim itself – which can be significantly stressful”.
And the good news keeps coming for the Cairns office with Beth Rolton named last month as a finalist in Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards for Regional/Suburban Lawyer of the Year 2023. The national level award recognises exceptional lawyers for their outstanding dedication and contribution to the legal industry as well as their clients and the community.
