Guided by the principles of fairness and expertise, Libby has been an integral part of the Travis Schultz & Partners team since 2021. Transitioning to the legal industry from a career in nursing, Libby brings a unique perspective to her role, combining her medical knowledge with legal acumen to advocate effectively for her clients.
Libby’s journey in the legal field began with a passion for helping people, a quality that has been evident throughout her professional life. She graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2015. Following this, she worked in various healthcare settings, including peri-operative, acute care, aged care, and pain management. With a passion for helping people, Libby went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws and graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with Honours in 2018. She was admitted as a Lawyer in 2020. This blend of legal expertise and healthcare experience enables her to navigate the complexities of personal injury claims with empathy and precision, making her a formidable advocate.
Libby’s dedication to her profession is reflected in her academic achievements and recognitions. She was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024). Her community involvement is demonstrated through her roles as a former member of the Governance and Risk Sub-Committee at Bloomhill Cancer Care (2022-2023), a former board member at Meals on Wheels Coolum Branch (2021), and a current volunteer solicitor at the Suncoast Community Legal Service (2024).
