A Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury, Mark has more than thirty years’ experience in common law litigation and is a highly regarded practitioner in the legal industry.

Both large and small businesses seek Mark’s advice on occupational health and safety, workers compensation and legal liability issues.

Mark spent 33 years building a strong and reputable personal injury practice at Brisbane firm, Bennett & Philp. Mark joined the TSP team as part of the firm’s merge with B&P’s personal injury department in 2021 and has ensured a smooth transition for clients while also providing a critical practice development and mentoring role.

Mark has been recognised by his peers as a leading Queensland plaintiff lawyer for motor vehicle accident compensation, public liability compensation and work injury compensation law in the 2021 Doyle’s Guide to the Legal Profession.

Mark was a founding member of the Australia Plaintiff Lawyers’ Association, now known as the Australian Lawyers’ Alliance.

He has also worked with American law firms in actions involving negligence in the international mining industry and the medical profession, all litigated in the USA.

Mark is making the most of his final years in the practice of law by actively pursuing his clients’ compensation rights, as part of the team of professionals he is proud to work alongside, while also mentoring up-and-coming lawyers.
