Friday the 17th of May saw the return of the 12th annual Travis Schultz Winemakers Master Class backed by NAB Private Wealth for SunnyKids and this year our community raised an incredible $187,000 in one afternoon!
As 370 guests came together to enjoy ‘a day at the winery’ luncheon and raise funds for vulnerable Sunshine Coast children and their families, they also enjoyed some of the finest wines our country produces.
This annual event raises vital funds for the SunnyKids in Schools programs, which aims to break the cycle of domestic violence and directly supports thousands of vulnerable children here on the Sunshine Coast.
We were honored to be joined by esteemed winemakers from renowned wine-producing regions. From the picturesque Adelaide Hills, we welcomed The Lane; from the historic Hunter Valley, Meerea Park; and representing the rich heritage of the Barossa Valley, Hentley Farm and Yalumba. Their presence enriches our event and adds an extra layer of sophistication to our tasting journey.
The impact of this event in recent years would not have been possible without two very special people who were recognised for their significant contribution. During the event Tony Kelly and Jane Ferrari were appointed as Honorary Winemakers Master Class Event Ambassadors. We hope this recognition helps acknowledge their commitment to the success of this event and contribution to fundraising efforts. These two amazing humans have been SunnyKids supporters for such a long time and there is absolutely no doubt that these two individuals embody what it means to show true commitment to a cause and a deep passion to helping our most vulnerable. Thank you, Jane and Tony, for all that you do for SunnyKids and for all that you continue to do for our community. We’re truly grateful.
