A welcome addition in 2023 to our team of compensation experts, Candice works from our Brisbane office.
Being part of a family of nurses, Candice followed the family path towards health, and completed work experience in the Mater Hospital during her studies. This developed into an interest in health law, that then developed more specifically, into an interest in personal injury law.
With over a decade of experience as a compensation lawyer, Candice is able to offer her clients the best of both worlds – health and law. With her passion for learning about medical conditions and treatment, combined with her skills for solving complex legal problems, she is a valued advisor to clients.
She leads claims and trials in vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, public liability and medical negligence. She has experience in the management of catastrophic injury and complex legal claims including spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, and heart and lung conditions.
Known for being relatable and down to earth, Candice values fairness and respect. With her love of learning, expect Candice to have a deep understanding of new developments and materials in health and law and a burning interest to know more.
Outside of work, you’ll find Candice entertaining her two active daughters and winding down with a session of yoga or a good crime documentary.
