Shelly brings nearly three decades of diverse experience across various sectors and works alongside our Brisbane team as a Senior Paralegal.

Having gained experience in both defendant and plaintiff firms, Shelly has a rich and valued knowledge of Personal Injury Law. Beginning her career as a claims officer for 2 major QLD insurers managing motor vehicle accident claims, she then transitioned to work as a senior paralegal, executive assistant to 2 head equities and as an internal auditor for a national plaintiff law firm.

Shelly holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is also a qualified internal auditor of ISO 9001. At present, Shelly is studying a Diploma of Counselling and has knowledge of ISO 45003 to further her interest in the Psychological challenges faced by clients.

Driven by values of compassion, empathy, and justice, Shelly’s dedication lies in her genuine desire to help people, a quality that undoubtedly enriches our team and the experiences of our clients throughout the claims process.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Shelly finds joy in AFL and volunteering. She spends her weekends cheering for the Lions at the Gabba or contributing her time to the local footy club. Additionally, her commitment to community involvement extends to volunteering at her daughter’s school through the P&C.
