Queensland-based compensation law firm, Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP), has claimed a rare achievement in the Doyle’s Guide National Rankings for 2022, with founding partner, Travis Schultz, being the only lawyer in Queensland to make the preeminent list and the only lawyer across Australia to be ranked Preeminent in all three core areas of compensation law (work injury, motor vehicle and public liability).

Mr Schultz said he is both incredibly humbled and honoured to be ranked so highly in the prestigious national awards — particularly as these awards are determined by his peers.

“It’s hard to put into words how honoured I am to receive this accolade. In any profession, being recognised by one’s peers is the greatest compliment,” Mr Schultz said.

“At TSP, we pride ourselves on being able to provide our clients with unparalleled expertise and the honour bestowed upon us this week reinforces our ability and credibility in delivering on that promise.”

TSP Chief Executive Officer Kelly Phelps said Mr Schultz’s recognition is a credit to his integrity and unwavering dedication to his clients, his team and the profession as a whole.

“This accolade is a result of years of dedication in seeking justice for injured and vulnerable people in our community, along with a commitment to excellence, both on an individual level and throughout the profession,” Ms Phelps said.

“Travis opened TSP just four and a half years ago and has since been able to help a great number of people, with the support of his incredible legal team, who are outcomes-focused and values-driven in all they do.”

Fellow TSP partner, Tim McClymont, was also recognised at the National level, ranking as Recommended for the Leading Public Liability Compensation Lawyers (Plaintiff) and Leading Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Lawyers (Plaintiff) categories.

“This national recognition is an incredible achievement and reflects what Tim brings to the legal profession with his dedication and unwavering commitment to his clients. Our team is extremely fortunate to have access to his wealth of knowledge,” Mr Schultz said.

The honour follows the firm’s recent sweep of the Doyle’s Guide at the State level, when it was recognised as a Leading Law Firm in all three compensation law categories and saw six of its lawyers receiving high-level rankings.

“The key lesson I’ve learnt over the past four years is that having a high expertise, low cost, values driven and community approach is what has set TSP apart,” Mr Schultz said.

“I believe our peers have recognised and applauded this approach in awarding us these coveted rankings and I thank them for this acknowledgement.”

TSP also recently took out the highest accolade at the 2023 Sunshine Coast Business Awards as Business of the Year, after also winning the Professional Services Category (large), for the third year in a row.
